Tai Chi Class

Pangu Shengong (aka Pan Gu Mystical Qigong), developed by Master Ou Wen Wei, has its fundamental philosophy and practice rooted in kindness and benevolence. It is designed to absorb the beneficial energy of the sun and moon and the essence of the Qi of the universe. It regulates and intensifies Life Force and the immune system. Pangu Shengong is a specialized form of Qigong that is simple to learn, and its benefits to health and well-being can be experienced immediately. The positive effects from regular practice include:

  • Balance, Harmony, Peace of Mind

  • Strengthening the Immune System

  • Increased Well Being, Happiness & Inexhaustible Vitality

Pangu Shengong greatly improves the symptoms and underlying conditions of many diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, strokes, rheumatoid arthritis, apoplexy, lupus erythematosus, different types of cancer, and many chronic illnesses such as chronic pain, sleep problems, and autoimmune disorders. It is amazingly effective in reducing drug dependence and has been used successfully to assist people in drug rehabilitation programs. Hundreds of thousands of people around the world have learned and continue to practice it and attest to its increasing their vitality. Thousands of patients have completely recovered from their illnesses and regained their well-being. (Ultimate success depends on the practitioner's own efforts, of course!)

According to its unique features, Master Ou also named Pangu Shengong as Heaven, Earth, Sun and Moon Qigong. It is a simple, comparatively short routine that involves the circling of the palms, the opening of the arms, and some visualizations. It has no restriction regarding time or place to practice, nor does it involve strenuous physical activity or intense concentration.

Pangu Shengong is a complete healing system. It consists of a Moving Form, a Nonmoving (meditation) Form and an Advanced-condensed Form. Pangu Shengong also provides a Healing Skills Course and a Teacher Training Program for those who want to help others with this powerful method.

The physical movements of Pangu Shengong are simple and easy to learn, but the content of it is rich and the philosophy is profound. With deeper understanding regarding its content and philosophy, it will help practitioners achieve greater results with the same simple practice.

Compared with other forms of Qigong, Pangu Shengong has several outstanding features which make it ideal for anyone:

  • It is easy to learn and understand.

  • Practice produces immediate effects.

  • Only 15-30 minutes is required for each practice.

  • There are no restrictions as to age or ability. It is available to everyone.

  • It is a complete, self-contained system for health and well-being.

Pangu Shengong is a discipline that Master Ou originated through many years of studying how the ancient Chinese people cultivated long and healthy lives. Through his own agonizing but successful self-experiments, and through learning the inspiring and enlightening story of Pangu, Pangu Shengong was created in 1990. Since then, it has been well-accepted by society at large.  Pangu Shengong is now being propagated widely throughout the United States, as well as in more than 30 other countries including China, Canada, Indonesia, Australia, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, etc.

Pangu Shengong has been received and mastered by thousands of practitioners, allowing many of those suffering with illness to regain their health and march toward a new life.

Master Ou designed Pangu Shengong according to the characteristics of the physiological structures of the human body and the relationship between human beings and the Universe.

A synopsis of Pangu Shengong theory is:

The principle of properly conducting oneself in society and the key of exercising Pangu Shengong is achieved through adhering to the philosophy of: “To take kindness and benevolence as basis,  to take frankness and friendliness to heart.” Thus, this maxim serves as the "password" to enter this discipline.

The philosophy on the way of treating others and dealing with affairs is: “To speak with reason, to treat with courtesy, to act with emotion, and to accomplish result.”

"Harmony of heaven, earth, and humanity" suggests that relationships among all things in the universe, including relationships between human and human, human and matter, and matter and matter, are "coexisting relatively, tolerating each other than becoming stable, being harmonious then resonant."

“To turn mystery into reality and to transform complexity into simplicity.”

According to the theory of Pangu Shengong, Qigong is a special knowledge, possessing both material and spiritual characteristics. The material characteristics manifest in three ways:

    1. as a unique form of energy,

    2. as a unique form of molecular movement,

    3. as a unique field.

The spiritual characteristic mainly refers to a dynamic ability that supersedes material characteristics and manifests itself in vitality and thinking ability. The spiritual characteristic has both conscious action and super-conscious action.

The function of the forms of Pangu Shengong is to absorb the energy of the sun and the moon and the essential Qi of the universe, then to use it to suppress the negative aspects and to reveal positive aspects and to help and guide humankind. The principle of Pangu Shengong is formulated according the dialectical relations that exist among and between various aspects of phenomena and matter intrinsic to the formation, development, and trend of the Heaven, Earth, and Humanity.

Pangu Shengong has condensed the factors in the Universe that are beneficial to humanity and matter, and provides the function of self-adjustment.

As a result, if practitioners of this Qigong are willing to conduct themselves in the correct manner and to deal with things according to the principle of “taking kindness and benevolence as its basis, taking frankness and friendliness to heart,” put forward by this Qigong, and to insist on exercising according to the contents stipulated by this Qigong, then the effect of curing sickness, strengthening the body, developing wisdom, and living in harmony and friendship with others will be realized.

The principles of curing sickness through Pangu Shengong are two: The first principle is that by properly performing the exercises outlined, the practitioner will directly absorb the material elements from Nature that are beneficial to the human body, and will cure those illnesses caused by a lack or deficiency of needed material elements in the organs of the body. The second principle achieved through exercising is that the physiological function of the human body will be enhanced by the absorbed energy, thus curing the sickness caused by the obstruction of the physiological function of the organs of the body.

Pangu Shengong is also translated as Pan Gu Shengong, Pan Gu Shen Gong, or PanGu ShenGong. Its original Chinese has 4 characters, pronounces “Pan”, “Gu”, "Shen”, “Gong” respectively; therefore, we purposefully make the abbreviation of Pangu Shengong as PGSG.
